‘The world is but a canvas to our imagination’ I have been feeling extra inspired lately and I put this down to the colours of the dry season – There is so much beauty is my little city.

I also have on lots of colour consulting, Fabric and furniture selections for 3 nice new clients which are keeping me busy, a renovation of a lovely little old holiday home and a new build that feels like it is taking forrrrever but one which will be a great showcase of my work when completed.

I spent my Saturday morning traipsing through the local art galleries and chatting with like minded creative types about colour, the new work on the gallery walls, politics, the weather – all the usual stuff plus some shared whinging about how annoying all the tourists are at the local markets this time of year.

No more work for me this weekend, it’s time to start packing our car for a road trip …. I am counting down 2 weeks til the fella and I go on holidays, where we will do nothing but take photos, drink wine, fish and cook on an open fire under the stars – Life is always good but it is about to get even better. xox
