Who loves renovation?? not me! … anymore. After years of helping people with their homes …quite a lot of them now as I think I am in my 10th or 11th year since starting interior design (am I THAT old, no not really I just started young) I have finally lost the reno bug, and it is all due to my own tiny kitchen and too many hours spent staring at the walls whilst brainstorming ideas..by myself. Now I have done too much. I just want it finished, I want my routine back and i want a kitchen that doesn’t have dust in it is that too much to ask??

Don’t get me wrong, I have enjoyed the process, I will never not enjoy flipping through books of colours, fittings, visiting tile showrooms but the process is tiring, and I am increasingly lazy when it comes to my own house. I had hoped to be finished by the end of the month…but I just realised that is tomorrow. I am now going to aim for the end of August- yes that sounds much more achievable. Will post pictures as soon as the fella (who has been unwaveringly amazing I might add) and I, plus our associated tradie friends (thanks guys I really do appreciate you despite my constant sarcasm) have finished and are celebrating in the new space.
