I have come to the conclusion that working from home full-time is not the best solution for me and I am eventually going to have to hire some office space or a funky little studio somewhere in order to achieve what I want in conjunction with staying at the commercial design firm. I just can’t concentrate fully on work in my home office without starting other projects or multi tasking and suddenly deciding that i absolutely MUST put on that load of washing right now or frame those photos that have been gathering dusk on the desk or whatever other menial little bullshit task I can come up with that seems more important than starting that project that’s probably already late anyway. So there you have it- decision made…I will hire some office space sometime… probably not in the next few months but eventually like i said.

Heres what’s happening in my design world…in picture form because it’s easier for me and I am on holidays as of tomorrow, ain’t nobody got time for full recaps this time of the year right? right. There’s some cafe lighting on the go, lots of colour consulting, a living room makeover in concept design, a DIY table project and a kitchen reno. Bang- done.

That’s it from me… I have a christmas champagne brunch date with the family at my nan’s- as per usual I will be running late but family aren’t allowed to judge each other so all is well. Happy sunday to you! x
