snooping architect’s homes

What is happening in Milan 2014? Lots I can assure you! Aside from the furniture fair that just launched over the weekend (I will wrap that up in a separate post) there is also new photography exhibition opening soon that reveals the homes and workspaces of some the greatest architects around,  including Shigeru Ban,  Zaha Hadid (whose home I featured recently in another post) , David Chipperfield and Daniel Libeskind.

“The exhibition, entitled Where Architects Live, will centre around the domestic spaces of nine eminent designers, also including Mario Bellini, Marcio Kogan, Bijoy Jain, and Massimiliano and Doriana Fuksas. Curated by Francesca Molteni, the show will also feature interviews recorded with each resident. ”

As I fell deeper into the neverending hole that is the internet and googled a couple of these featured architects that I (shamefully) had never heard of I found the older original article that was published back in Feb which has more detail and is worth a read if , like me houses are your thing.  If not, carry right on to the next post.
