Calm down folks this post is about bedroom design, there is no X rated gossip to be found here… not in this post anyway.

I have been doing some research on romantic bedroom styles as I think we are due for a new bed in the new year so i will have to restyle the room to accommodate this new bed obviously, Anyway this is what I’ve come up with as looking pretty good to me so far.

You notice a few 4 poster beds in there? Yes I am quite partial to them so theres a VERY good chance my bedroom renovation will include a 4 poster bed …. when I decide to be a grown up (maybe next year, I haven’t decided yet) I will redo my bedroom and buy a better bed. I currently have a very old, very LARGE king size ensemble that is super comfy but not all that stylish. But I don’t need the bed to be stylish at the moment though because I have the most beautiful curtains in the world so they trump the bed.

Here’s some more bedroom inspiration of none of those styles appealed to you. and here if you have a tiny room . I love how half the featured images show pristine beds, perfectly made and then the other half of these rooms look ‘lived in’ , like a stylist has been appointed specifically to make the room look like a person just got up out of that bed right before the shot was taken. Personally I spend my mornings trying to make my bedroom look like i DIDN’T just get out of it, smoothing sheets and plumping up pillows, only to get back in it and mess it all up at the end of the day…Really – why do we make beds anyway? it is such a pointless chore.

I love my bed. Actually I love any bed, I am a really good sleeper and I am very partial to several thousand silky pillows and 3 separate sheets to tangle myself up in. You can never have enough luxury when it comes to bed as far as I am concerned.
