Wow I have had a week PACKED full of exciting new furniture and products and people!. That always happens to me… Just when I thought I had everything all squared away and I’m sitting here hoping for a relatively quiet week (as it’s a short week for me) so I completed all my work in a big hurry and was about ready to set off for a long weekend and then all of a sudden all these interesting extra little things popped up . Anyway I find I am very easily excited by people who make things so I am happy to have come across this stuff but really…the timing could have been better. Like these good arty folk Black Crow Contemporary Art who popped up in my inbox in a splash of colour and cheerfulness. These pieces are Australian made and very well priced so worth a look if this is your kind of thing.
I am having a little obsession with this local Darwin company called Little Skygarden, these ladies sell the most adorable pieces of glass and I very much want ALL of them. Infact I am going to get some to hang in my kitchen window sill above my recycled ‘just perfect’ piece of timber that I still haven’t found yet. Hint hint- it is my birthday soon and I want lots of these teraniums.
I think I can manage to keep air plants and a few succulents alive …. this time, despite 2 failed attempts at air plants thus far.
The Bold Collective These guys…well, girls actually do some amazing work and look like they would be a lot of fun to be around in general.
Mr Jason Grant who wears alot of blue in fact he seems to really like blue as it features A LOT of this blog, well worth a look.

INTRODUCING The hot new ‘Belle Epoque chairs – BRAND NEW into Australia from Italy … what can I say, these chairs are very lady like and lovely and quirky and just ….so me. I would team these hot little babies with a chunky timber table and we would live happily ever after together hosting outrageous dinner parties.
This table with above chairs- love it!Brand new from Hive lighting– The Limbo pendant light. Personally I would have made those candle style thingos illuminated spheres as I think that would suit the figure better whereas the candles detract from it but that’s just me. This light is so new that I can’t even find anything to link it to as noone is talking about it – yet. Remember- you saw it here first.
On a personal note I have been doing some research on vintage wedding ideas and found this 1930’s style wedding shoot and a quirky rustic styled wedding that both really appeal to me (weddings can be so boring and same same but these are nice and unique)….a little planning for the new year maybe. Oh who am I kidding I need years to plan a wedding I am useless with organising things for myself, I should stick to doing projects for other people instead. Oh and yes, I want that ballerina style ring obviously.
More from me next week, I am currently on the Mornington Peninsula having a little mini break right now so if you have emailed me since Thursday and wondered why I haven’t replied – that’s why. I make no apologies… I am in wine country – don’t call me, I’ll call you 😀
